I completed my layout using the Fancy Pants "Happy Place" Page Kit included in

January Flavor of the Month Kit

and the 

January Embellsihment Kit

I was so excited when my niece posted photos of her and my sister that no only matched the colors in this awesome collection.
And to top it off, the collection was also perfect for the inspiration in the book cover.

The challenge that inspired this page:

I was inspired by the following:

Black & White (cat)

Stripes (hat)

Colors (red & blue)

To complete the requirement of the challenge, I added white paint splatters!

Scrap Our Stash Blog

sharing a layout I created inspired by this month's

Sketch Challenge

Loved that the "Stash" element of the Sketch Challenge for this month was to use up some of the older product in your stash. 

Well, it's that time of year to make room for some of the upcoming CHA releases and the scraps and papers I had left from WRMK's "Peppermint Twist" 2011 collection, were perfect for these sweet photos of my great-nephews. 

I had to scale down the elements of the sketch to enable me to use the large 12 x 12 die cut, which worked out just fine. 

Of course I loved working with the sketch, mainly because it was quick and easy and the other reason, I designed it! LOL

The challenge ends tonight, but make sure you stop by for our sketch challenge next month at 

Scrap Our Stash.   Each month starting in January we will be featuring a Guest Sketch Artist along with a sketch created by the artist, exclusively for Scrap Our Stash!

Good morning everyone!

Today I am sharing the layout I created inspired by the  

October Sketch/Color Challenge at Scrap Our Stash

The Challenge:   

Create a layout inspired by the sketch, AND...

(4) or more colors for the 2014 Fall color palette provided.

The only other colors you can use are Black, White and Kraft!
