Random Wednesday * Word Up * "Dream Challenge

My challenge this week at Colorful Creations is a word challenge and I chose the word "Dream"!   For my example I used a self-portrait of my granddaughter Tyra and Bo Bunny's Etcetera Collection.  And to top it off, I just started making sketches, thanks to my scrap partners in crime, SheShe and Rochelle, and this is one of my first sketches and also my first time using one of my sketches:  Head on over to Colorful Creations and check out the challenge and how you can entet to win the wonderful Teresa Collins paper kit that is up for grabs.

Random Wednesday * Alpha Challenge

My Random Wednesday challenge this week over at Colorful Creations is an Alpha Challenge.  The challenge is is use one item from each of the first three alphabets.  For my example below, I used:
A = Arrow;  B = Brads and C= Circle.  The Crate Paper Toy Box collection was perfect for this photo of my son, Marcus taken in 1976.
Journaling:  Who knew...at age 3 and excited about being at the Ft Lewis Museum , that one day you would become a part of Army Special Forces.

Civil Rights Walk of Fame

I created this layout for the Monday Mixer Hopscotch challenge at Colorful Creations using some of my old Basic Grey Cappella stash and a sketch from Page Maps.  What a great place this was to visit and I cannot wait until I get a chance to scrap the remainder of my photos.

NOLA

I love Echo Parks new "Happy Days" collection.  It was perfect for these photos I had from my vacation this summer.  I created this layout for Colorful Creations "Inspired By" Scraplift Challenge.  The challenge was to go into the gallery, find a layout that inspired you and lift it.  I chose a layout by Maureen Stuckey to lift and this is what I came up with:

Red, White and Blue

Here is a layout I completed for Brenshevia's Red, White and Blue Color Combo this week,  over at Colorful Creations!  I was not sure when I first purchsed MME American Made papers if I liked them that well. but once I started using them, I feel in love with the collection.
