Sketches4All Spring Blog Hop and Announcement!

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the Sketches4All Blog Hop and Scrap-A-Thon!!!

First I am excited to announce that I have joined design team at Sketches4All and really looking forward to working with this awesome group of ladies!   

Now on to the FUN stuff...

The Sketches4all Spring Blog Hop and Scrap-A-Thon starts today Monday, April 1, 2013 and ends on Sunday, April 7, 2013.  You should have arrived here from blog. If not, you should start HERE and visit all the blogs on the hop, comment along the way and then head over to Sketches4All and join in on as many of the Scrap-a-Thon challenges as you can.

Today I am sharing a layout I created inspired by the awesome sketch below by Rochelle Spears for the Scrap Our Stash March Sketch Challenge.  The STASH twist on the challenge was to add mixed alphas, which I used to create my title work.

Today I am sharing two layouts I created for DT assignments:

My first layout was created for the second March Sketch Challenge at Paper Secrets...the twist was to use chipboard.   My chipboard items, Thickers, photo corner, buttons and I also mounted some cardstock stickers on raw chipboard.  This layout is of my oldest son at age 2 with his first puppy!

March Guest Designer at Sketches4All!!!!

I have has computer issues this past week and unable to blog or post much of anything.   I have a little access to a computer right now and just want to let everyone know how excited I am to be the March Guest Designer at
Sketches4All!!!  

This month as Guest Designer I am hosting a challenge and would love for all of my scrappy friends to come by Sketches4All and join in the challenge.  All you have to do is create a layout with a polaroid photo or instagram photo, layer 3 or more patterned papers and/or embellies and use mixed alphas.

Hello, and welcome to my March challenge!

I am changing my challenge up a bit this month.  Kerys will be hosting the sketch challenge on her blog and my challenge for March is:

KEEP CALM and....

You are to create a LAYOUT and include the phrase,

 Keep Calm and....the second part of the phrase is your choice.   

You can use it as part of your journaling, the title or include an embellishment that has the phrase on it.

More Layouts to Share!!!!

Hello and Happy Friday!!!
Sharing two more layouts with you today!
Scrap Our Stash revealed their first challenge today under the new challenge format.
The challenge is Kraft It Up and you are to create a layout and at least 50% of your layout must be Kraft paper and/or embellies.   And...you have to dig further into your stash and pull out 3 + metal pieces to include on your layout:
Here is the page I created using MME Kraft Funday Collection, 6 eyelets, a metal rosette which I used on the tag to run the twine through and then I added a paper clip that originally had ribbon on it that I replaced with a chipboard button from MME.   I added a little misting, some washi tape, twine and here is the result:
