December Guest Designer at Back Porch Memories

Happy Holidays Everyone!!!
I am so EXCITED to be guest designing for Back Porch Memories this month!
Back Porch Memories is a monthly kit club that offers a choice of two kits.
Have you had a chance to check out their kits?
Here is a peek at December's kits:
Solo Kit
Medley Kit

I was sent the Medley Kit to create with, which was perfect to get some of my photos from 2004, 2006, and 2012 scrapped:

"It's the Most NOT SO Wonderful Time of the Year"

'Tis the Season to be Jolly"
(Jenny Evans Sketch)

"Merry Christmas Wishes & Sweet Sister Kisses"

"Sorry, No Humbugs Allowed"

and below is a Christmas card I created with scraps from this kit:

Make sure you pop on over to the gallery at Back Porch Memories and check out all the wonderful projects their Design Team created using these awesome kits!!!
I am also hosting a sketch challenge on the BPM site this month and would love to have some of my followers play along!

Basket Full of Cuteness

Hello there!
It is Tuesday and time for Ten Things... at
This week the design team was challenged to create projects using BAGS!
For my project I mounted my photo on a 4.25"x 5.5" Kraft Bag, inserted a tag and a cardstock sticker journaling card inside of the bag.  I also folded down the the top half of a smaller kraft bag and placed over the edge of the top of my page, inserted a tag and created an embellishment cluster using a deccorative brad, twine and a layered sticker.
This layout was also inspired by the following challenges:
"All About Our Guys Challenge" at Scrap Our Stash
"Use Your Dies" Challenge at Scrap it Girl
(Triangles & Tags cut with my Cricut)
"Anything Goes" ~ Sketches4All
The design of my layout was inspired by the May 23 sketch below from Elle's Studio:
Check out the Practical Scrappers blog and see how the design team came up with various ways to use bags.
