Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Sharing a layout I created using a photo of one of my adorable great-nephews. This layout was inspired by
Scrap Our Stash "Anything Fuzzy" Challenge, Eleven Things You Can Do With Heart Punches at
Practical Scrappers and the Material Challenge at
Scrap It Girl
For the "fuzzy" items, I used the striped paper which is flocked and there is also flocking on the chipboard journaling embellie. After creating the burlap flower for the material challenge, I noticed there was a lot of fuzz on my working surface and it dawned on me that burlap, although it has a rough texture, it is a "fuzzy' fiber.
I created the butterfly by using the MS "Heartbeat" deep edge punch. I glued two of the larger hearts together to create the wings and then added a thin piece of chipboard to the back of one of the smaller hearts and placed it on top of the butterfly where I adhered the 'wings" together. I added fiber from the burlap to the butterfly for the "antennas"!
