May Flavors of the Month Kit

"It Was a Good Day to Have a Good Day"

 I just love the soft colors and the pops of gold.   

And the fact that is goes so well with photos with lots of green scenery.   

All items used to create this layout and the layout below are from the kit, 

except for the twine and the title work.

This layout was inspired by the 

May "Be Our Guest" Sketch at The ScrapRoom

I used the right side of the sketch and flipped it up.   

Instead of using a large square photo, I used a 6 x 4 photo.

The ScrapRoom May Double Shot Kit

I love the delightful, happy Pink Paislee "Hello Sunshine" line found in the kit and how perfect this complimented this super cute summer photo of my great-nephew, Caleb.  This layout was future inspired by TSR May Sketch by PageMaps:

And...I had a lot of fun designing a page using the 

MME's Chalk Studio 2

product also found in the kit:

I cut the large tag, title, hearts and paperclip from the patterned papers using my Cricut and the was made using my WRMK Envelop Punch!

The ScrapRoom May Flavors of the Month Kit

Hello!

Today I have several projects to share with you using the fabulous May Flavors of the Month Kit from the ScrapRoom!

I am always so excited to receive this kit because it is always filled with awesome goodies!!!

Here is a look at this month's kit:

My first layout "Oh Snap" was created using Basic Grey's "Capture" collection which I loved how well the color pallette worked with these super cute photos of my great-nephews!

My second layout "The Love of a Family..." was created using more yummy goodness from the kit, Simple Stories "Homespun" collection:

The Basic Grey, "Mon Ami" collection found in the kit is very versatile.  For my third design team assignment I used it to scrap some photos taken in 2008 at the

Gettysburg Battlefield:

More yummy goodness in this kit is from My Minds Eye "Now & Then Mildred" collection, which I used to create a double page layout of my granddaughter!  

I LOVE the patterns and girly colors in this collection!

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing a layout I created inspired by the

This sketch gave me the perfect opportunity to use up some of my 6x6 stash.   Each sunray was backed with a thin layer of raw chipboard and then lined with a pen to add a little dimension.

Basket Full of Cuteness

Hello there!

It is Tuesday and time for Ten Things... at 

Practical Scrappers

This week the design team was challenged to create projects using BAGS!

For my project I mounted my photo on a 4.25"x 5.5" Kraft Bag, inserted a tag and a cardstock sticker journaling card inside of the bag.  I also folded down the the top half of a smaller kraft bag and placed over the edge of the top of my page, inserted a tag and created an embellishment cluster using a deccorative brad, twine and a layered sticker.   

This layout was also inspired by the following challenges:
