"Look At Me...I'm 3" Layout

Today I am sharing a layout I created of my youngest granddaughter on her third birthday last year.   I am challenging myself to use up as much as my old stash as possible this year, so I pulled out a My Mind's Eye collection that has been in my stash since 2011!  Hopefully I will get a chance this week to complete a companion page and use up more of this collection!

"Man of the Hour" Layout ~ Paper Secrets February 15th DT Sketch Reveal

The February 15th Sketch at Paper Secrets has been revealed.
The twist is to add items starting with the letters in the word:  LOVE

Here is my layout using a photo of one of my adorable great-nephew, Devin and design inspired by the sketch:

"Big Man on Campus" Layout

Good Morning!
It's the 15th which means it's time to reveal another sketch challenge at 
Not only is  there a sketch but there is also a twist:  Back 2 School 
(use a school supply on your layout)

And...since I was having to add a school supply item, I decided I might as well join in on the Back 2 School challenge at 
and create a layout about my great-nephew's first day of Kindergarten, which by the way has numbers and alphas also meets the requirements of the "Kindergarten Cop" Challenge at

It's Not About Perfect

Red Carpet Studio"Valentines Day" Challenge

Happy Super Bowl Sunday Everyone!
I am excited to be Guest Designing at Red Carpet Studio this month and would love to have some of you  come over and participate in some of this month's challenges.

This week's challenge is to create a "Love" themed layout inspired by the 2010 movie "Valentine's Day."
Here is my take on the challenge using W R Memory Keepers "Crazy for You" Collection and a photo of me and "My Guy"  that I met on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City!   LOL

Color Combo Challenge at Paper Secrets

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Sharing a layout I completed for our first challenge this month at Paper Secrets.
The challenge is to create a project using the color palette below as inspiration.
I chose Basic Grey's "Oxford Collection, Basic Grey Basics and a splash of kraft cardstock to create this layout.  I used my MS All Over Star Punch to punch the star into my page then outlined and added pop dots and a piece of the same patterned paper used to cut the the large circle:

Today I am sharing a CLEAN and SIMPLE layout with a HAND CUT WORD.   I created my layout using Jillibean Soup's Macho Nacho collection from the Paper Secret's Shop and the sketch below from Scrapbook Steals
