Being a BIG Brother....
The last couple of week's have flown by quickly... and creatively I did not accomplish much at all. Too busy and not enough mojo! I did complete a sketch layout, hoping it would spur some creativity. There is nothing like a sketch when creativity fails me! I had been waiting to use my stash of Pebbles Fresh Goods and this years Halloween photos of my two youngest grandchildren was perfect. The colors just scream HAPPY!

I have resigned as Admin/DT at Colorful Creations effective at the end of this month, so I should have plenty of time and no excuses for not keeping my blog updated in 2012. Colorful Creations is supporting the fight against Breast Cancer!
This month at Colorful Creations we are "Thinking Pink" in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. We have several challenges going on throughout the month of October to show our support. My challenge for BCA is "Just Another Name for Breast." The challenge is to choose a word from a list of alternative names for breast and use it as a title for a layout. The layout does not have to be breast or breast cancer related.

Random Wednesday * Alpha Challenge
My Random Wednesday challenge this week over at Colorful Creations is an Alpha Challenge. The challenge is is use one item from each of the first three alphabets. For my example below, I used:

Random Wednesday ~ Seeing Double ~Fashion Statement
My Random Wednesday - Seeing Double challenge this week at Colorful Creations is "Fashion Statement - Polka Dots, Plaids and Stripes. The rules are to use one of each plaid, polka dot, and striped patterned papers and create a layout using the PageMaps sketch below. I used MME Hip Hooray papers, and scrapped photos taken at my grandson Jayson's 5th birhtday celebration in 2006.

Eat More Cake
I love the Pink Paislee Soiree collection, so for the Guest Designer Sketch Series at Colorful Creations last week I used the sketch to make a companion page to go with my "Celebration" layout. This paper just pops against a black background. Thanks to the recent challenges at Colorful Creations, I am finally getting my 2005 birthday photos scrapped!
