Christmas with DaddyPapa

I am finally getting some of my old Christmas photos scrapped.  This layout of my grandchildren with their grandfather in 2006 was created  as the inspiration page for Colorful Creations Blog Challenge #6 using papers from Echo Park's Merry Christmas Collection and a sketch created exclusively for Colorful Creations by Lucy Chesna of  My Sketch World.  Head on over to Colorful Creations Blog and take the challenge.  All you have to do is use this sketch and  use one of the following themes:  Christmas, Winter, or New Years...easy peasy!

Colorful Creations "I Get Around " Blog Hop

Hello and WELCOME to Colorful Creations “I Get Around” Blog Hop – Blog Stop #2!!! You should have arrived here from SheShe's blog: Scrappily Ever After.  If not, and you arrived here by other means and want to play along, then head on over to Colorful Creations to start at the beginning of the of the hop. We have a great lineup of bloggy inspiration for you!

For the blog hop, I am hosting the following challenge:

USE YOUR SCRAPS W/ A TWIST!!!

Pull out your scrap bin and create a layout using any of your scraps. You know those bits cut off here and there, the negatives left after you use your punches, even the tiny circles from using your hole punch. Any cardstock and patterned paper you have left over from other projects you have created. No cutting into new pieces of paper…no cheating!!!!  Layouts only...no cards!!!

The TWIST:

(1) You must use the sketch provided below by Lucy Chesna at My Sketch World


(2) You must include 2 or more embellishments on your page that fly ( butterflies, airplanes, birds, bumblebees, ladybugs, etc)

"Your Are My Sonshine"

I just love this new "Fine and Dandy" collection from My Mind's Eye and it is just the perfect paper and embellishments for this layout of my son and grandson.  I created this page for Colorful Creations Trains & Tiaras  "You Are My Sonshine" Challenge.  For the challenge you are to create a layout that focuses on a father & son relationship, add a quote or poem and use the word" SON" in your journaling or title.  My layout is based on this sketch from My Little Sketch Blook:
