Here is a look at the layout I created inspired by the sketch and the other Scrappy Friends Challenges:

I used row 3 diagnonally...
Chevrons (Patterned Paper)
Spring Colors
Date Stamp

And... for Kelly's Word Challenge:
I used the word... LIFE
(Sticker and journaling)
