A Hunting We Will Go" Layout ~ The ScrapRoom

Today I am up on 

The ScrapRoom Blog

sharing a layout I created using the lovely

Echo Park " Spring" Page Kit,

included in the

February Flavors of the Month Kit!
I love the pattern papers in this collection and when I saw the kit,
 I knew I had to use it to scrap these photos of my grandchildren
taken last spring while while waiting for an Easter egg hunt to start:

I used a butterfly punch to punch out butterflies from the "Beaming Butterflies"
patterned paper and to finish off my page added the several pieces of
the ephemera included in the kit.
 I have a few more photos taken that day
and looking forward to using the rest of this kit to scrap them.

I was so excited when my niece posted photos of her and my sister that no only matched the colors in this awesome collection.
And to top it off, the collection was also perfect for the inspiration in the book cover.

The challenge that inspired this page:

I was inspired by the following:

Black & White (cat)

Stripes (hat)

Colors (red & blue)

To complete the requirement of the challenge, I added white paint splatters!
